These terms are an agreement between you and FlareMail (“FlareMail,” “we,” “us”) for use of the inbox at app.sendwithflare.com, the iOS companion app, the API, and the marketing site at sendwithflare.com. Effective September 16, 2026. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
FlareMail is a hosted inbox for people who send and receive mail through Cloudflare Email Routing and related Cloudflare services. It is not a generic Gmail replacement, not an IMAP host, and not an enterprise shared-inbox product. Features, limits, and availability can change as we operate the product.
Accounts
- You create an account on the website (including onboarding). The iOS app is a companion: it signs in to an existing account; it is not a separate signup product.
- You must provide accurate account information and keep your password, session tokens, API keys, and mobile PIN confidential.
- You must be able to form a contract. FlareMail is not directed at children under 13.
- One person or organization is responsible for everything done under the account, including teammates and mailbox grants you invite.
Your mail and content
You retain whatever rights you already have in mail and files you store in FlareMail. You give us a limited license to host, transmit, back up, and display that content solely to operate the service for you (including processors named in the Privacy Policy). You are responsible for the legality of what you send and store.
Acceptable use
Do not use FlareMail to break the law, to send spam or unsolicited bulk mail, to impersonate others, to probe or attack systems you do not own, to share malware, or to interfere with other customers. We may suspend or close an account that we reasonably believe is abusing the service, harming our infrastructure, or violating these terms or Cloudflare’s or Paddle’s rules.
Cloudflare and sending
Inbound and outbound mail depend on your Cloudflare account, DNS, Email Routing, and (where used) Cloudflare Email Sending. We do not control Cloudflare’s network. Delivery to third-party inboxes is not guaranteed. Resend may be used for mail to recipients outside a Cloudflare-provisioned domain.
Billing
The first three sending domains are free. Pro is $10 per month for 12 domains, then $1 per extra domain. Agency is $60 per month with unlimited domains. Billing is through Paddle as merchant of record. Paddle’s checkout terms apply to payment. Cancel in Paddle to stop the paid plan; unpaid or failed charges may reduce the account to the free domain limit. Details: pricing.
iOS companion
The iOS app reads and sends mail for a FlareMail account you already have. Apple’s App Store terms also apply to installation and in-app purchase if any. Push notifications require your permission and an Apple device token as described in the Privacy Policy.
Availability
We aim to keep the inbox working, but we do not promise uninterrupted uptime, lossless delivery, or that every feature will remain available. Maintenance, Cloudflare incidents, and third-party outages can interrupt the service.
Termination
You may stop using FlareMail and ask us to close the account by emailing [email protected]. We may suspend or terminate access for breach, non-payment, abuse, or if we discontinue the product. After closure we delete stored mail as described in the Privacy Policy, except records we must keep for billing, abuse, or law.
Intellectual property
FlareMail’s name, marks, site, apps, and software are ours (or our licensors’). These terms do not transfer ownership. You may not copy, scrape, or reverse engineer the service except as allowed by law.
Disclaimer
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that mail will be delivered, searched, or retained without error.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FlareMail is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages, or for lost, delayed, or misdelivered mail. Our total liability for a claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for FlareMail in the three months before the claim or (b) fifty U.S. dollars. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits; those limits apply only to the extent allowed.
Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify FlareMail against claims arising from your content, your mail, or your breach of these terms, except to the extent we caused the harm.
Changes
We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page. The date at the top is the current version. Continued use after a change means the new terms apply. Material changes to paid billing will be announced in the product or by email when practical.
