# Using multiple accounts

Run several mailboxes side by side — each account connects to its own Worker, with its own aliases and a default for sending.

FlareMail supports as many accounts as you like. Each one connects to its own FlareMail Worker, so you can keep work and personal mail completely separate.

## Add an account

Open **Settings** (`⌘` `,`) → **Accounts** and click **+ Add Account**. Fill in:

- **Account name** — a label like “Work” or “Personal”.
- **Email address** — the address this account sends and receives as.
- **Worker API URL** — the backend for this account (defaults to your FlareMail Worker).
- **Access token** — paste the JWT for that account, or sign in to fill it.
- **Aliases** — comma-separated extra addresses that also belong to this account.

*The Accounts panel. One account is marked Default for new messages.*

Toggle **Default sending account** on the mailbox you want new messages to come from. You can switch the active account any time from the account selector.
