# Contacts

Browse people FlareMail already knows from your senders, recipients, and sending addresses — then compose in one click.

The **Contacts** view in the sidebar collects people from your mail history and sending addresses. There’s nothing to import — FlareMail builds the list as you send and receive.

## Find and email someone

- Open **Contacts** from the sidebar.
- Search by name or address.
- Switch between card and list layouts.
- Click compose on a contact to open a new message addressed to them.

> **NOTE:** Contacts stay local to your mailbox activity — FlareMail doesn’t sync a separate address book service.
